The Divine Parenting organization is supporting the annual program, WWSF – 19 Days of Support for Prevention of Child Abuse and Violence Against Children/Youth.
The program aims to raise awareness of the issues that affect our children on a global level. The following are the 19 issues being covered from November 1-19, 2011:
- Corporal punishment
- Sexual abuse
- Bullying
- Neglect
- Child labor
- Child soldiers
- Sale of children
- Child prostitution
- Child pornography
- Child trafficking
- Child sex tourism
- Harmful cultural practices
- Sexually transmitted infections
- Street children
- Substance abuse
- Hunger and malnutrition
- Internet
- Television, movies and advertising
- Video games and mobile phones
The Divine Parenting focus is related to the SOLUTIONS to these issues. Our goal is to share the information and to elicit feedback from our audiences as to how they would solve these issues – either on a personal, familial, community, national or international level.
